The new Corona variant has become the most widespread in America. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that its estimates indicate that infections with the new submutant of Covid-19 (JN.1) constitute a percentage ranging between 39 and 50% of the total cases in the United States as of yesterday.
They explained that these numbers mean an increase from 15 to 29% in the number of cases in the United States, based on expectations issued on December 8th.
The US Centers for Disease Control said in a statement that the percentage of cases of infection with the new mutant is still increasing, and it has now become the most widespread in the United States.
